Matriculation Exam: Matriculation Examination Kicked Off Across The Nation

The matriculation examination for 2021-2022 academic year was held across the country as of 31st March.

In the Dakkhina District of Nay Pyi Taw Council area, there are 27 examination centers and over 9200 students enrolled to sit for the exam. On 31st March, the students sit for Myanmar Language question paper. The necessary arrangements have been made for the convenience of the students.

Win Win Aye (District Education Staff Officer), Dakkhina District, Nay Pyi Taw said “We have arranged all necessaries for the students who sit for matriculation examination to be well discipline, free from dishonesty, free and fair and safety with the coordination of the departments such as health department, Township Administration Council, ward/village Administration Councils, fire brigade, Nay Pyi Taw Police Force, Military unit, motor vehicle police etc.”

There are 52 matriculation examination centers including one hospital exam center in Nay Pyi Taw Council area and over 17000 students enrolled to sit for the exam.   

In Mandalay, the students sat for their exam peacefully.  There are 139 examination centers in Mandalay Region and 37235 students are sitting for the exam, according to the Mandalay Region Education Department Office.

For the students to sit for their exam peacefully at the exam centers in the region; the sitting plan is arranged in line with the COVID-19 rules and directives, the reserve exam rooms have prepared and the members of fire brigades, volunteer associations and the officials concerned are collaborating, it’s learnt. 

San Aung (Deputy Director General), Mandalay Region Education Dept. Office said “ There are 139 examination centers in Mandalay Region including exam centers in Mandalay Oe Bo Central Prison and Mandalay General Hospital. The students are wanted to urge to attend their health and be steadiness in mind during the examination period.”

The matriculation examination for 2021-2022 academic year will be held from 31st March to 9th April. In the whole country, there are 1256 examination centers and the students enrolled to sit for the exam are over 300,000, it’s reported.
