Mathieu van der Poel wins third straight Paris-Roubaix

Mathieu van der Poel won cycling's Paris-Roubaix for the third consecutive year, defeating Tour de France champion Tadej Pogacar in the race known as "The Hell of the North."

Mathieu van der Poel, winner of Paris-Roubaix said "It means a lot. It's such a hard race and I was really suffering. Too bad Tadej [Pogacar] had this mistake in the corner. Then I just had to go for it, but it was still quite far until the finish line." 

Mads Pedersen finished third after a sprint for the final podium spot, with Wout van Aert taking fourth.
