




In order to take responsibility as match commissioner at the football matches which held from World football federation and Asian football federation and Myanmar National League, match commissioner course was provided in Myanmar.
The match commissioner course led by Myanmar Football federation opened at Thuwanna Football Stadium, Yangon to develop human resources and to turn out the new generations of match commissioner.
Director, Myanmar selected athletes association (Myanmar Football Federation), HtunHtun Aung, said " When we held the football competition, there are so many people and organizations who support the footballers behind the sence- association which held football matches, coaches, match commissioners and related departments which support necessary .Match commissioners play the main role in holding matches. They have to take responsibility for the whole match from the start to the end. We opened the course for the youths who are familiar with football to have chance to be match commissioners and to produce more."
The subjects which will be taught at the match commissioners and how to do step by step to be match commissioners explained the director of the Myanmar selected athletes association.
Director, Myanmar selected athletes association (Myanmar Football Federation), HtunHtun Aung, said " There are so many subjects- match organizing, match operations, safety and security, marketing for sponsorship procedures, broadcasting that have to pursue the audiences to watch the matches. Those subjects will be taught at the course. The people who are able to take responsibility locally, have to do it locally. From this, they have to sit an exam, if they are qualified in the local exam, they have to take an exam which was held by the Asia Football federation. They have to do step by step to pass those exams. We just like implementing a carrier channel."
Currently, There are two internationally recognized match commissioners in Myanmar.
