Mass Rallies: Support for People’s Military Service Law

On Friday, rallies to support the People’s Military Service Law took place in Pathein Township of Ayeyawaddy Region and Taungtha Township of Mandalay Region respectively.
The nationalist advocates marched to the designated areas by chanting slogans along the routes. The participants expressed their belief and support to the People’s Military Service Law.
Originally enacted by the State Peace and Development Council in 2010 as Law No.27/2010, People’s Military Service Law is set to take effect from the 10th of February 2024.
The order was signed by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council.
