






On 19th July, people including students visited the General Aung San Museum in Yangon to learn about General Aung San and related historical events. The exhibition offered visitors a chance to witness the lifestyle of General Aung San through the display of exterior decorations and a series of documentary photos inside the building.
Thi Thaung, Assistant Director, National Museum (Yangon) said "At the Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Yangon, as the special programmes we display livestream video of General Aung San through via system and efforts for his independence struggles. The visitor can also observe currencies, coins and stamps with the image of the General andall his about through touch screen at one place by using infromation technology. In this museum, we also display the statues of General. "
Likewise, visitors can observe about General Aung San and related histories including historic photos and speeches that can be studied both in Myanmar and English languages by using the General Aung San Application Software through touch screen and so also the General lifestyle through via cinema system.
Student said "I come here to observe about our leader General Aung San and his lifestyle. This is my first time visiting the Bogyoke Aung San Museum. When I saw the displays of General Aung San’s commemorative photos and materials that he used, I feel very sorry and I really remember our leader Bogyoke Aung San."
One of the students who come to the museum expressed his feeling on the 1st time visit there and his remembrance on the General Aung San and fallen leaders.
Student said "I want to come here since I was young. This is my first time visiting here. On this day, I feel like I miss our Independence Leader Bogyoke Aung San and martyrs leaders while I feel sorry for losing them. And I am really grateful to him for his struggles for the country’s independence."
The special programs are set to display for 3 days at the museum. Bogyoke Aung San Museum is opened free for the public on the Martyrs' day.
