





Myanmar has been exported marine products through the Muse border gate to China and more than 2,300 tons of marine products worth over 7 million USD were exported in January this year. At present, the entry/exit of people from Muse border to China is allowed at the Nan Daw gate and the Sin Phyu gate, according to an official of Trade Department.
Aung Zaw Moe, Director General, Trade Department, said " Myanmar has exported marine products includingseveral of fish, shrimp, crab and eel through the Muse border gate to China this year. About 2,300 tons worth 7 million USD of marine products were exported in January. Also the entry/exit of people from Muse border area to China is allowed at the Nan Daw and Sin Phyu gates. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we were exported only 221 tons of eel and fishin June and just around 3,000 tons of marine products to China in September. Also we able to exported a variety of fish and shrimp in November last year. At present, we have been exporting and importing goods through Kyin San Kyawt gate without exception."
According to the agreement between Myanmar and China, those who have a household list in Muse district are given and allowed to enter/exit with Passport for Visit (PV), and also negotiation has been made with the local authorities to provide Temporary Border Pass (TBP).
