Marin: We want to join NATO together with Sweden

During a panel discussion at the Munich Security Conference, Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin emphasised on Saturday her country continues to strive for simultaneous NATO accession with Sweden. 

The prime minister said joining the alliance at the same time as Sweden not only because they were "good neighbors", but because it simplified security planning. Turkey has signaled its reluctance to accept Sweden unless it steps up pressure on exiled Kurdish groups.
