Maravijaya Buddha Image: SAC Chairman inspected works progress

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the status of completing the construction of Maravijaya Buddha image in Buddha Park in Dakkhinathiri Towship, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory in the morning on April 25th.

First, the Lt. Gen. Kan Myint Than clarified the completion of instructions given by the SAC Chairman in his inspection on 5th and 22nd April, implementation of carving Maravijaya Buddha image, finalized touches of handicrafts, underway to carve the Urna, the mark in the centre of the forehead, progress of the construction works, carrying out to describe the facts about the measurements and weight of Maravijaya Buddha Image with QR Code and the Quartermaster General Kyaw Swer Lin clarified the status of constructing religious buildings, water fountain square, pagoda platform, perfumed chamber, Mucalinda lotus pond, Buddha sitting on a snake coiled, Sasana Beikman, stone inscription houses with ceti on top, entrance arches and progress of the works.

Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and party viewed the status of completing carving the Maravijaya Buddha Image, construction of pennant pole, status of constructing perfumed chambers, Thudhamma rest houses, water fountain square, entrance arcs, stone inscription houses with ceti on top, Mucalinda lotus pond and gave necessary instructions and fulfilled requirements upon the reports of the officials.
