







Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended a coordination meeting on the Maravijaya Buddha Image, the tallest of its kind in the world, at the Buddha Park in Deckhina Thiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.
Advisor to the SAC Chairman Lt-Gen Nyo Saw reported on the arrangements for convenience of the pilgrims, completion of Ticket House construction, donations received by the local and international pilgrims as well as the charity organizations, drinking water supply, power consumption, parking arrangements, and maintenance plans.
The senior military officers and the Union Ministers later reported on the work undertakings on their respective sectors. In response to the reports, the Prime Minister gave instructions on the convenient transportation arrangements for monks, senior citizens and persons with disabilities, appointment of staff, greening and cleaning tasks.
He added to set three-month trial period for public obeisance in line with the temporary regulations. Free entry has to be continued and collect fees only for mobile phone camera, video camera and parking fee with reasonable rate. Based on the three-month trial period, long term management will be made accordingly.
After the meeting, the Prime Minister and party paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image and stone plaque cetis and cordially greeting the pilgrims who came to pay homage the Buddha Image from all across the country.
