Mara Vijaya Buddha Image: About 45.9-degree has been raised up as of 7:00 pm on Friday

As of 7:00 pm on January 27th, Mara Vijaya Buddha Image has been conveyed onto the Yadana Throne for about 45.9 degree. The conveyance of the Buddha Image commenced in the morning of January 26th with the auspicious ceremony in the compound of Buddha Park in Dekhina Thiri Township of Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw.

The ceremony was graced by the Sayadaws and Members of the Sangha led by Chairman of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Bamaw Monastery Sayadaw of Mandalay Dr. Bhadanda Kumara Bhivamsa and Chancellor of Sitagu International Buddhist Academy Chairman of ShweKyin Nikaya Sitagu Sayadaw Dr Bhadanda Nyanissara, along with the attendance of the Leading donor, Chairman of the State Administrative Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife, and well-wishers.

The Buddha Image has been conveying onto the Yadana Throne with the use of steel tower crane, and about 51.2-degree of the Buddha Image has been raised up as of mid night on Friday.
