Manual To Online System: Technical Base Warehouse Maintaining Training Opened

The opening ceremony of technical base warehouse maintaining training course was held at the natural disaster management department in the morning on 7th June.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine said that the opening of this training by the ministry is an effort for keeping abreast with the neibouring countries. The training is to use online inventory management software for the the warehouse keeper staff members instead of original manual system regarding with the stocks of relief items kept in the warehouse.

By using electronic system and computerized system from the paper base work process, the stock-pile of relief items can be identified timely and the decision makers can be managed through online etc. Next, the deputy minister U Aung Tun Khaing said that the relief items worth 40,000 Kyats can be now provided.

Regarding with the using Inventory Management Software, it’s initially aimed at the head quarters, central warehouses in Yangon and Mandalay and regions and states levels. Later, it’s will be used at the district and township level. Afterward, the trainees introduced themselves individually.
