Man City sign Fernandez, Ndiaye as Premier League clubs spend record £3.46bn

Manchester City on Wednesday signed Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea for 125 million euros and Iliman Ndiaye from Everton on a frantic deadline day.

This pushed total Premier League summer spending to a record £3.46 billion, breaking the previous mark of 3.1 billion euros. Fernandez will form a new-look City midfield alongside England international Elliot Anderson and Moroccan teenager Ayyoub Bouaddi.
