Malaysia welcomes Laos PM for bilateral talks ahead of ASEAN

Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim hosted the Prime Minister of Laos Sonexay Siphandone in Putrajaya where the two leaders held bilateral talks ahead of the ASEAN leaders summit. Kicking off in Kuala Lumpur on May 26, the meeting of Southeast Asian leaders is expected to focus on US tariff blitz with the move posing huge challenges to economic growth and stability in the region.
