




The first founding meeting of the Malaysia-Uzbekistan Business Council was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
The council was founded by Prime Minister of Malaysia, A. Ibrahim in order to ensure the implementation of agreements reached during his visit and to provide close assistance to Malaysian and Uzbek entrepreneurs in the further development of trade-economic, investment, tourism and other spheres of cooperation between the two countries.
The number of members of the Executive Committee of the Council is 12 people from Malaysia, and it is planned to invite representatives of 12 leading companies from the Uzbek side to help it in the process of implementing mutual projects. The number of member companies of the organization is expected to be more than 100 in total.
