Malaysia Trip: Chief Justice attends ASEAN Chief Justices Retreat meeting

Myanmar delegation led by the Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay attended the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices (CACJ) Retreat meeting from the 18th to the 21st of October in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia organized by the Federal Court of Malaysia.

During his Malaysia trip, the Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay visited the Federal Court of Malaysia together with the Chief Justices of ASEAN countries and observed the usage of AI and court technology.

Then, the Chief Justices attended the launching gimmick of CACJ Model Rules, including the 10th anniversary commemorative stamp collections.

At the CACJ Retreat meeting at the Shangri-La Hotel on October 20, after the welcoming address by the Chief Justice of Federal Court of Malaysia, the Chair of the CACJ, the Chief Justice U Tha Htay discussed the achievements over the past ten years of CACJ and CACJ’s strategic agenda for the next ten years, together with the Chief Justices of ASEAN countries.

The Union Chief Justice attended the meeting along with officials of the Union Supreme Court.
