Making ground inspection: Kachin State CM made a ground inspection

The Kachin State Government is implementing for the development of agriculture, livestock breeding and small-scale industries with the Country Economic Promotion Fund. The Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan together with the officials made a ground inspection “KhaKhuu” traditional clothe weaving workshop in the morning on 18th June.

First, the Chief Minister inspected “KhaKhuu” traditional clothe weaving workshop which was operating with the 10 million Kyats of Country Economic Promotion Fund in the first revolving year well and the extension of hand looms and machine looms for further production of traditional garments, inquired status of market penetration rate and the extended industries and coordinated requirements with the departmental officials.

Next, the Chief Minister and party visited temporary relief camps in the compound of Youth Shelter Training Center in Myitkyina, met with the 23 temporary displaced households comprised of 81 people, gave words of encouragement, provided 50 dozen of copy books, stationeries and foodstuffs for the children. After coordinating with the departmental officials regarding with the requirements of constructing temporary sheltering buildings, toilets and drinking water upon the report of camp in-charge, provided 6 million Kyats of cash assistance for building the temporary houses and foodstuffs to the families.

The Chief Minister also met with the temporary displaced households in Bala Min Htin Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Sitar-pu ward and those in Myanmar Philadelphia Pentecostal Church) in Myitkyina and provided copy books, cash assistance for the construction of temporary building and foodstuff.

The Chief Minister together with the Chief Justice of the State High Court, State Ministers and departmental officials watched the friendly football match between State Selection Football team which will compete in Inter-Regions and States U-21 football competition and the Myitkyina University selection football team, provided 1 million kyats for winner U-21 State Selection Football team, half million Kyats for Myitkyina University selection football team and cash assistance for the members of referee board and members of Red Cross Unit, it’s reported.
