Making field trip: SAC members look into thriving tea plants in Wan Sai

Members of the State Administration Council U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw together with Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and concerned officials inspected Naung Tong lake in Kengtung and construction of Kengtung Haw Nan on Monday morning.

After that, the SAC members and party visited Kengtung Buddha Park and paid homage to Thatta Thattaha Maha Bawdhi pagoda and Abaya Razamuni Buddha image and donated cash for all-round renovation of the pagoda.

The SAC members and party then paid obeisance to Presiding Nayaka of Naga Hnit Kaung Pariyatti monastery in Tachileik State Ovada Sariya Baddhanta Dhamma Siri and supplicated condition of rendering health care and donated cash.

They later paid homage to Tachileik Shwedagon pagoda and donated flowers, water, lights and cash. Moreover, the SAC members and party visited Wan Sai region in Kengtung Township on Sunday and looked into thriving tea plants in commercial scale. They then paid homage to Wan Sai monastery Sayadaw and donated cash.
