Macron welcomes Biden at Arc de Triomphe at start of state visit

French President Macron welcomed US President Biden in Paris at the Arc de Triomphe, marking the beginning of Biden's state visit to France.

Biden participated in D-Day commemorations during his stay, honoring the 80th anniversary of the landings. The leaders laid a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and were set to walk down the Champs-Elysees.
