Macron, defence minister attend military exercise in Abu Dhabi

French President Emmanuel Macron and French Defence Minister Catherine Vautrin attended a military exercise at the training centre of the 5th Cavalry Regiment during a visit to Abu Dhabi. Macron is beginning a visit to the United Arab Emirates to celebrate Christmas with French forces deployed in the country and to promote France’s partnership with the Gulf state.
