Machine Supervisory Committee: Work Coordination Meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

A work coordination 3/2023-2024 meeting of Machine Supervisory Committee under the Ministry of Industry was held at the Ministry on Thursday with the attendance of Chairman of the Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than and officials.

At the meeting, Union Minister said that the Machine Supervisory Committee plays a vital role in country’s machinery sector. And, he instructed the needs on allocation of budget for machine sector of the government departments in purchasing and utilization of machines.

He urged all for systematic implementation of the tasks in accordance with policy and work procedures of the Committee. Then, the representatives from the Ministry of Energy, other ministries and Committee members reported matters on changing of project value and handing over of fund.

They also sought approval for the second draft of “Instruction procedures of fund for capital expenditure (machine), purchasing equipment and handing over the fund”. The meeting ended with a closing remarks by the Union Minister.
