Lula receives FIFA Women's World Cup Trophy Tour

Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Minister of Sports Ana Moser received the FIFA Women's World Cup soccer trophy at the presidential palace during the FIFA Women's World Cup Tour ahead of the Australia - New Zealand 2023 World Cup tournament.

Lula also signed a decree that creates a strategy to strengthen women’s football in Brazil, looking for Brazil’s candidacy to host the 2027 Women’s World Cup.The World Cup Trophy tour started on February 25th in Japan and will go through all 32 participant countries.
