London’s National Gallery is celebrating its 200th anniversary with a light show on the front facade of the iconic building at Trafalgar Square on Friday. The celebration includes music and other events inside the gallery, although tickets are fully booked.

Visitors can learn about "the history of the Gallery through momentous acquisitions, handwritten ransom notes, and beautifully illustrated drawings of the building's architecture”. The event is free for entry and takes place from 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
