Local Oil Sufficiency: Coordination meeting on sufficient production of edible oil

A coordination meeting on sufficient production of edible oil took place in Nay Pyi Taw on 2nd August. The meeting discussed the work undertakings through collaborative efforts by concerned departments of local oil sufficiency. Plans have been made to mill the oil crops produce from the plantations across regions and states.

The discussion also include harmonious cooperation among the oil millers and departments for local oil sufficiency and reduction of import. The meeting was led by Union Ministers U Min Naung, Dr Charlie Than and U Tun Ohn with the participation of officials and experts from respective sectors.
