Livestock Sector: Efforts for development of livestock industry

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi visited a dairy farm in Taung Twin Gyi Township of Magway Region on 1st November.

In meeting with the local breeders, the Deputy Minister urged all to make collaborative efforts for livestock sector, producing value-added products. After the meeting, the Deputy Minister inspected the production of dairy products and animal feeds.

The Deputy Minister inspected the dairy farms and Cotton Mill in Aung Lan. At the District General Administration Office, the Deputy Minister met with the breeders and explained the Government’s efforts for development of livestock sector, along with the plans for market penetration and boosting quality production.
