Livestock Sector: Deputy Minister makes inspections in Yangon

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi inspected the Diploma in Veterinary Science course on Thursday in Insein Township of Yangon Region. During the inspection, the Deputy Minister urged the 66 trainees to follow the rules and try hard in this 1-year course and provided foodstuffs to the trainees.

And, the Deputy Minister inspected the buildings for the trainees and storage facility of the Department of Livestock and gave necessary instructions. On the same day, the Deputy Minister met with entrepreneurs from the livestock sector and stressed priority use of domestic products and importance of the development of the livestock sector for the country.

Also, the Deputy Minister inspected the Yangon Wuling Diesel Engine Co., Ltd and the Young Investment Group (YIG) and urged concerned officials to improve and produce agricultural equipment that matches the practical work.
