Livestock Sector: Demonstration on animal feeding process

A demonstration on animal feeding process took place at Dairy Cow Farm in Nay Pyi Taw on 30th March.

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung took part in the ceremony, urging all for practical usage of nutritious animal feeds for boosting production of livestock meat and dairy products. The demonstration includes process of making silage for animal feeds, and it aims to reduce the import of raw materials and to produce nutritious animal feeds locally.

Famers actively took part in the demonstration, enquiring for what they want to know. After the process, the Union Minister took a tour around the dairy cow farm.
