Livestock Sector: Bago Region Chief Minister makes field inspection

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win together with departmental officials made a field inspection for the development of livestock breeding industries in Bago Region.

First, the Chief Minister inspected the DYL pig farm in Ayetharyar Village of Bago where he instructed the officials to cooperate with the locals and carry out breeding extensively, to produce animal feedstuff based on the local raw materials and to prevent the spread of infectious disease.

After that, the Chief Minister and party arrived at Zwe Bar Village of Kawa Township where they looked into the seeding of monsoon paddy with the use of drum seeder running with the state economic promotion fund. There, he ordered the officials to encourage the planting and seeding methods and commercial chicken farming.

Then, the Chief Minister visited the duck farm and egg production of duck farming where he coordinated the needs with the officials. The Chief Minister and party also visited the Industrial, Agricultural and livestock breeding high school at the BEHS (OhnHnae) in Kawa Township where they encouraged the students and instructed to plant shady trees and provided cash assistance through the teachers.

They then met with the teachers, inspected the accommodation for the students and coordinated the needs. Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected the fish farming at Shwe San Kyal Company in Thanatpin Township.

There, they made connection with the commodity depots to be able to sell fish and eggs which are the main products in basic foodstuff directly to the townships in the Region. The Chief Minister and party also looked into the fish breeding at Department of Fisheries in Thanatpin.

There, he instructed the officials to carry out fish releasing and breeding and opening the livestock breeding courses not to have fish extinction.
