







Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and Government members inspected the development of Tunte Livestock Breeding Zone implementing near Ta-Loke-Htaw Village in Tunte Township in the morning on May 25.
The Chief Minister and party heard the clarification of YCDC Chairman Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay and officials regarding with the implementation of 63 livestock breeding farmers, breeding of goats, fish, dairy cows, beef cattle, poultary and pigs, layer chikens and ducks at the section (1), section (2/1), (2/2), (2/3) (3/1) and (3/1) and producing eggs and meats.
Director of Region Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department clarified the renovation of Kangyikone dam constructed since 1913 and the departmental officials reported the work implementations in the livestock breeding zone as per the sectors.
Then, the Region Chief Minister and party viewed the Kangyikone dam, livestock breeding sections, cattle farm and Myanmar Durain Plantation (MDP) owned by U Kyaw Min. The chiken meat, milk, eggs, pork and beef are being distributed to the Yangon Market, it’s learnt.
