





Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung met the livestock breeding entrepreneurs from Shwe Myo and Kangyi livestock zones in Tatkone Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area in the morning on 20th July.
At the meeting, the official from Nay Pyi Taw Council Area Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department clarified the status of running livestock breeding industries in the livestock breeding zone, director general of the Department of Agriculture Land Management and Statistics about the knowledge on the right of land use and the existing laws regarding with the Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Lands and the Chairman of Myanmar Livestock Breeding Federation (Nay Pyi Taw) and livestock breeding entrepreneurs reported requirements on the industry.
In the responding to the clarifications and reports, the Union Minister urged to run livestock breeding in full account of animals in the project on the permitted land area to use approved by the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, conditions to take action in line with the law if the land permits are acquired without breeding, as the ministry will provide the necessary technical assistance in the acceleration of investments by the domestic entrepreneurs, more endeavors are needed.
In the Shwe Myo and Kangyi livestock zones in Tatkone Township, the livestock breeding companies and farmers are running of breeding dairy cows, local cattle, goads and pigs and distributing meat and dairy products and the efforts are being made for the livestock breeding sector in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area by inviting the oversea investments from livestock breeding to the production of finished products.
