Literary talk: YRCWA held pre activity of Myanmar Women’s Day

Supervised by Yangon Region Women Committee, organized by Region Committee for Women’s Affairs, the literary talk as the pre activity hailing Myanmar Women’s Day was held at the Mingalar Hall of the office of the Yangon Region Government in the morning on 17th June.

First, the students from the National University of Arts and Culture (Yangon) opened the event with the song “Being proud of Myanmar Women” followed by the opening remark of Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein.

Next, President of Myanmar Writers’ Association Myinmu Maung Naing Moe and Writer Ma Hnin Phway conducted literary talk.

It was followed by solo playing of Myanmar traditional Chinlone and the multiple academy award winner actress Soe Myat Thu Zar and Writer Shwe Ku Nan NwetNwet conducted literary talk.

After that, Patron of Yangon Region Committee for Women’s Affairs wife of Yangon Region Chief Minister presented gifts of honor and cash of honor.

Then, the wife of the Commander of Yangon Region Command presented cash of honor to the performers and the Region Minister for Social Affairs awarded the gifts of honor to the writers, it’s reported.
