Lin-Manuel Miranda campaigns in Georgia

Actor, writer and director Lin-Manuel Miranda visited the state of Georgia on Wednesday to support campaigners in one of the most closely watched contests in the upcoming U.S. midterm elections.

Miranda spoke to a group of young Hispanic people in Forest Park, south of Atlanta, complimenting them on the work they've done to promote voter turnout. Polls in Georgia Raphael Warnock suggest that Warnock and Republican nominee Herschel Walker are headed to a tight contest. Georgia is also holding an election for governor.
