Library Development : Reading Habit Promotion Ceremony in Twantay

On 1st February, Library Development and Reading Habit Promotion Ceremony was held at No.2 Basic Education High School (Myoma) in Twantay Township of Yangon Region.

The ceremony was opened by cutting ceremonial ribbons. Then, Chief Minister U Soe Thein, region ministers and officials oversaw the competitions and song performances of the students. After giving the opening remarks, the Chief Minister donated books and publications for the library.

In addition, honorary awards were presented to Author Win Htut Oo who hosted knowledge sharing session and students who staged performances. During the event, donors and well-wishers made cash donation and publications for the library development and reading habit promotion ceremony.
