Legal Practical Course: MOLA organizes course completion ceremony

The Ministry of Legal Affairs held the completion ceremony of Legal Practical Course No. 1 at the Ministry on 14th November. The course was opened for the students who are studying law at Naypyitaw State Academy. Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister and Union Attorney General Dr. ThidaOo said that Legal Practice Course is conducted for the law students to practice the lessons practically.

The Ministry of Legal Affairs is implementing strategic plans continuously, with the implementation of Moving Forwards to the Rule of Law Strategic Plan in 2015-2019. At present, the Ministry is working on Providing Legal Service for Justice Strategic Plan 2020-2024.

The 2025-2029 strategic plan is also being drafted with the motto Building Legal Trust for the People. Previously, only knowledge sharing session were able to organized with the collaboration of the universities. During the course, instructors form the Ministry of Legal Affairs provided practical lessons for 6 weeks as well as study tours to the PyidaungsuHluttaw, PyithuHluttaw, AmyothaHluttaw, Union Supreme Court, Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, National Library, Ministry of Legal Affairs library and E-library at Legal Advocacy Center were organized for the trainees.

The lessons and experiences gained from the Legal Practice Course will become the great assistance for the trainees in their respective workplaces, the Union Minister added. The ceremony was also attended by Rector of the Naypyitaw State Academy, departmental officials and trainees from legal studies.
