Legal knowledge sharing session: DPM UM attended and gave a speech

A sharing session on legal knowledge for civil service personnel working at the Ministry of Transport and Communications was held at the Ministry of Transport and Communications Office No. (2) in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

The event was attended by members of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister for Transport and Communications, General Mya Tun Oo, Deputy Ministers, senior departmental officials, and staff members.

During the event, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister emphasized the importance of all civil service personnel at the union-level organizations, ministries, and regional, district, and township offices understanding and adhering to the relevant existing laws and legal provisions.

He encouraged the attendees to give due attention to the talks and apply the legal knowledge gained from the sharing session to benefit the country and their respective departments in a practical and effective manner. Following this, legal officers from the Ministry of Transport and Communications delivered presentations on various laws, including the Constitution, the Civil Service Law, By-Laws, Myanmar Official Secrets Act, the Penal Code, telecommunications laws, traffic safety and motor vehicle management laws, election-related laws, and other essential laws that every citizen and civil service personnel should be aware of.

The participants engaged in discussions and asked questions to further understand the legal matters. It was reported that around 160 staff members from the Ministry of Transport and Communications attended the event in person, while 80 personnel from the ministry’s regional departments participated through video conference.
