


Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn attended and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Legal Awareness Training Course No. 7/2025, held at Meeting Hall-2 of the Ministry, Office No. 3, Nay Pyi Taw on March 17.
Union Minister U Tun Ohn stated that the training course aims to ensure that staff members understand legal principles, strictly comply with existing laws, and apply them practically in their respective fields. This will enable them to perform their duties with high efficiency and competence.
He added that the Ministry of Commerce has successfully conducted six legal awareness training courses during the 2024-2025 fiscal year, and this marks the seventh course. He also mentioned that the ministry will continue to organize such training courses for its officers and staff in the upcoming 2025-2026 fiscal year.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, Deputy Directors-General, Directors, and a total of 88 trainees. The training course will run from March 19 to 28, it’s learnt.
