Legal Awareness Seminar: Bago Region CM gave a speech at the event

On 11th September, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the Legal Awareness Seminar held at Bago University. The seminar was organized to educate the youths about the laws and policies practicing within the nation to understand the practices that should be avoided and the factors that must be complied with.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed the crucial role of the youths in nation’s development process and urged the attendees to focus on clarifications of the relevant officials during the seminar to understand the existing laws and policies practicing within the nation to ensure the stability and peaceful lives within the framework of law. He also urged to emphasize on nurturing the youths to become disciplined and responsible citizens for the better future. 

Next, Region Deputy Law Officers shared the knowledge and experiences related to 2008 constitution, election law, Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances law, Anti-Trafficking in Persons Law as well as gambling law.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and party paid homage to the historic Shwe Gulay Pagoda in Kalyani Ward and donated cash assistance for all-round renovation of the pagoda. They also inspected the damage areas of the pagoda caused by  a lightning strike on 9th September and coordinated requirements on systematic restoration of the pagoda.
