Lebanon receives 25 tons of medical aid from UN agency

Lebanon received 25 tons of medical aid from the UNICEF on Sunday. The Lebanese Minister of Public Health called the aid “significant” given the difficult situation that hospitals and the health sector are currently facing.

UNICEF Representative in Lebanon stated that the agency’s total aid will amount to 67 tons, capable of serving 700,000 people who are at risk of several types of diseases.UNICEF is supporting the government, and the hospitals and the Primary Health Care by bringing 25 metric tons of different kits, trauma kits and emergency kits. And it will be a total of 67 metric tons of such health goods.
