Lebanese Refugees Enter Syria

Syria is witnessing an influx of Lebanese refugees and even reverse migration of previously displaced Syrians as Israel has intensified its attacks against Hezbollah recently. At the border crossing of Judauda Yabos, families are making their way to Syrian capital Damascus.

Syrians, who were displaced by domestic war and migrated to Lebanon, now are forced to return to Syria as the war in Lebanon has spread across the entire country. Data from the International Organization for Migration revealed on Wednesday that over 90,000 people have been newly displaced since Monday due to the recent military escalation in Lebanon.
