Leaving for rescue and cleaning tasks: Members of MFSD left for Rakhine State

Myanmar fire brigade members left to Sittwe in the afternoon on Saturday with military aircrafts to carry out rescue and cleaning up tasks for the victims affected by the extremely severe cyclonic storm (Mocha) in Rakhine state.

A total of 36 members from Mandalay Region and 35 members from Nay Pyi Taw Council Area left from Nay Pyi Taw by military aircraft Y8 (5812) and 15 members from the Myanmar Fire Brigade Headquarters and 35 from Mon State left from Yangon with ATR-0005, it’s reported.
