At least eight dead & six injured in Bolivia bridge collapse

Recovery efforts are underway on the Rapulo River in northern Bolivia after a bridge collapsed, leaving at least eight dead and six injured, according to authorities.

A heavy truck caused the bridge to collapse in the Indigenous town of about 18,500 people, 400 kilometers northeast of La Paz. Authorities said five bodies have already been recovered and waiting for the other three.
