At least 8 dead in gas explosion in Venezuelan capital

At least eight people including two babies died when a house in a poor neighborhood of Venezuela's capital collapsed after a gas explosion, officials said on Tuesday. The incident took place on August 12 in the Union neighborhood, in Petare. Twenty-two people were rescued from the rubble and taken to different hospitals, the governor of Miranda State said on X.
