Largest Hindu Temple opens in New Jersey

The largest Hindu temple in the US opens its doors in New Jersey's township of Robbinsville.

Said to be a landmark of Hindu culture and architecture in the Western hemisphere, Akshardam, chiselled in India and brought to the US by boat, was formally inaugurated on October 8 under the guidance of BAPS spiritual head Mahant Swami Maharaj. It will be accessible to the general public on October 18th.
