Days of heavy rain have caused landslides and flooding in several mountainous areas in Quảng Ninh Province, Viet Nam including some severe landslide sites.

Over 100 cubic meters of soil and rocks slid down onto the road, the largest of five landslide points and two localized flooding spots in the commune.

In Tiên Yên Commune, prolonged rainfall also led to flooding and road blockages. Along the Đại Phong route alone, reports recorded up to 30 landslide points. Local authorities have mobilized machinery and workers to clear debris and create temporary roads to ensure safe travel for residents.
