Land Management: Workshop on Registration of Contracts

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation held a workshop on Registration of Contracts according to the Registration of Contracts Act and the Farmland Law.

During the workshop on Saturday in Nay Pyi Taw, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi urged the Department of Farmland Management and Statistics to provide service in accordance with the law, by-law and procedural instructions.

He also called on attendees to continue to make efforts for the online registration of contracts through the IT system. Also, Director General of the Department of Farmland Management and Statistics explained matters including contract registration procedures.

It’s reported that the Ministry has been holding forums, focusing on the current Registration of Contracts Act, Digital Deeds Management System, Farm Land Digital Management System, skills enhancement, challenges and requirements.
