Land Management: Magway Region’s Committee holds meeting 3/2023

The Magway Region Land Management Committee held the meeting 3/2023 at the regional government office. In this meeting, chairman of the committee Chief Minister U Tint Lwin said that the State Administration Council has been making efforts to further develop agriculture and livestock-based manufacturing with modern methods and build comprehensive development of other economic sectors as well.

He also called on attendees to ensure that the agriculture land cannot be used in other ways, submit the statement to the Central Land Management Committee for farmers to allow the cash crops cultivation which will generate more income for the region if there is no harm to the local rice sufficiency and surrounding lands.

He urged the Regional Land Management Committee to continue works to develop the production of agricultural products in accordance with rules and regulations conducted with the concerned departments and organizations.

And, the meeting discussed 2 cases for setting the floating island and confirms the boundary of the land, 3 cases for the issuance of second original or true copy for damage/loss of the farmland use certificate (Form 7), 3 cases for permission to change the cultivation from seasonal crops to perennial type, and to make comment on 5 land appeal cases.
