Land Management Committee meeting: Sagaing Region Chief Minister attended the meeting

The Sagaing Region Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee meeting (4/2022) and coordination meeting of the Farmland Management Committee were held at the region government office in the morning on December 1st with the attendance of the Chairman of Sagaing Region Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister said that as the Sagaing Region has vast land area where the perennial trees can be grown, the committee members need to carry out the tasks with integrity free from corruption, the district/township administration councils need to scrutinize systematically on the ground for the actual perennial growers.

The committee members are urged to cooperate and discuss openly focusing on the interest of the country.   Next, the region head officer of the farmland management and statistic department U Than Lwin reported regarding with the application for permit to use the vacant, fallow and virgin land and the region government members and committee members discussed the gave necessary suggestions.

Then, the Chief Minister coordinated necessaries with the responsible officials and gave a speech of conclusion, it’s reported.
