Land Management: Committee meeting held in Tanintharyi Region

Work Coordination meeting of the Tanintharyi Region Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee was held at the Regional Government in Dawei Township on 23rd January.

During the Meeting, Committee Chairman and Chief Minister U Myat Ko stressed to ensure and systematic management in land matters in accordance with the law and procedures.

The Secretary of the Committee reported on the plans for scrutinizing the cases and issues related to the confiscation of farmland and other lands. Members of the Committee also reported on the ongoing process and future plans and the Chief Minister coordinated the needs.
