Land Issue: Bago Region Industrial Zones Supervising Committee Meets

Bago Region Industrial Zones Supervising Committee held the coordination meeting 1/2022 at the regional government office.

In his address, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win stressed legal actions against those who do not carry out projects in industrial lands, highlighting that some entrepreneurs are moving their industries while local and foreign entrepreneurs have been accelerating projects in Bago Region where there are enough human resources and lands. He pledged to continue COVID-19 vaccination programme at the industrial zones.

Also, the Committee members discussed conditions of industrial zones, plan to form industrial zone management committee and electrification access.

After the meeting, the Chief Minister inspected construction of a private fertilizer production facility on the Bago-That Nat Pin Road and called for an awareness programme among farmers and growers to produce and use organic fertilizers.
