Labubu ecstasy: New twist in drug trade

Thai authorities have intercepted a new form of ecstasy disguised as the popular Labubu doll, highlighting the evolving tactics of drug dealers. Police raided a karaoke bar in Chiang Rai late on Wednesday, arresting six men and four underage girls.

Among the seized drugs were ketamine, methamphetamine, and five ecstasy pills shaped like the iconic Labubu character. The discovery has raised concerns among officials who believe the design is a deliberate attempt to appeal to young people and mask the dangerous effects of the drug.
