It is necessary to improve abilities and skills by applying the subjects and knowledge taught in the course in practical work and to continue learning, he added. And, the Union Minister held talks with instructors from the General Life News Agency and the trainees.

On the same day, the Union Minister attended the pre-employment training completion ceremony for officials and staff who will be assigned at offices in Thailand to issue Certificate of Identity (CI) to migrant workers. There, in his speech, the Union Minister highlighted the importance of work permit and labour rights for migrant workers.

Since most of the workers in Thailand are sending money home through illegal money transfer (Hondi), it is important to use the legal channel and send money in the right way. The Union Minister also urged the officials and staff to work for the interest of the migrant workers. It’s reported that 40 officials and staff from the Ministry of Labour and 13 officials and staff from the Ministry of Planning and Finance will serve duties at 5 CI offices and 3 mobile units in Thailand.
